Good Evening Patrons :) This post is just for you guys, it's kind of my feelings on editing Witcher, playing it over 3 days but won't give anything away (no spoilers) I have never spent so much time on a game review as I have with Witcher 3. I had all the commentary edited yesterday and then deleted it all and had another 6 hours in the game, just to make sure I had experienced it enough to make an unbiased review. I don't like ranting, I certainly don't do this channel to rant, I do it to try and give a totally unbiased honest opinion of a game in the hope that I save a few of you some hard earned cash. You see, we are surrounded with sell out's, huge PR machines churning out bullshit that is designed to take your money. I would estimate more than half the reviewers out there are just programmed to give AAA material a high score if the hype is high as they are scared to lose readers or viewers should they dis a game that has a big "fan boy" following. I have scrapped 4 reviews of this game, never have I had to do that before, I was just not happy, they were around 25mins long and so I had to cut them deep. Today around 2:00pm I managed to cut one final review to 17mins and that is the one you will see (very soon). I rendered it off at 1080p 60fps and uploaded it around 7pm. It finally processed around 7:30pm and looked bloody dreadful :S I quickly went into my editor and did a shit load of render tests as it soon became apparent that it was my export settings that were wrong. I used the same as usual but for some reason shadowplay (which I am very new too) does not like them. I eventually sorted it by upping the datarate to Blu-ray quality (18000) but realised this would make a 4 hour export as I use multipass. I quickly did a 7 second export using single pass of me riding a horse, uploaded it and it looks fine. I have set the whole thing away again rendering and it's currently at 31% with 35mins to go, so in around 1 hour it should be live on WAB. I am really looking forward to the feedback from this video good and bad, it's controversial as can be expected from a console port but I am very interested to see how people react to the way I dissected this game, no doubt a lot will be angry ;) Anyway I hope you enjoy it regardless of weather you agree with me or not.
