IMPORTANT (please take a moment)

Hey everybody, i know this right here is not the biggest audience, but every single one counts.
I am usually not the guy to do stuff like this, but in this case the importance is high to me personally and probably to each of you too!

My favorite place to go once a year is fusion festival. It is a one of a kind and certainly the most magical place i know. There is no other place that makes me feel as worriless and free as this one and i dont assume there is anything like this.

This year a new police president of that region is trying to put concerns about the security on the festival as an excuse to put a police camp right on the site.

The festival takes place for more than 20 years and it's one of the safest and peaceful places you could go, despite it's 70.000 people.

With the police being present on the site, it is a deep, repressive and severe interference in art, culture and people's freedom to act and be as they are.

This will also mean the end of the festival - one of the only places left where people can express and experiment with themselves and one another, creating an alternative approach to society.

"It's really about whether there can still be truly free spaces in society, spaces that are not restricted.
It is about  the freedom of cultural and artistic spaces to define how they develop and evolve. Seen from this point of view, this issue actually affects all sorts of other subcultural contexts: concerts, festivals, open stages and the
entire club culture. This particular case is about nothing less than the whole thing – defending the pillars of a free and emancipated society. "
