Some of you have your copies already, but for the rest of my patrons, for this month's Q&A video, tell me the biggest questions you neeeeeeeeeed to have answered from The Fifth Season! I won't spoil anything in books 2 or 3, but I'll tell you in which book to expect your answers. 'Ware spoilers in the questions for folks who haven't yet read T5S.

Could you expand on the social role of Breeders in the broken earth setting? I found it difficult to understand what purpose Breeders have in a com in the fifth season setting. It seems like producing new children are something that individuals with any use name could achieve. It's also mentioned that Strongbacks (labourers) are only one step above commless during a season. It seems like producing more mouths to feed is an even less useful skill than labour during a season. Is the child of a Breeder a Breeder?
