Weekly Update- August 18, 2024

Hey there Roomies!

Happy Sunday to everyone!!! I wanted to give a quick update before next week starts! Nothing too crazy, but definitely an update to some upcoming events!

Game Night (Film Fan tier & above)

• so as many Roomies know, we've had to postpone game night a few times because of scheduling conflicts, but also this, this damn heat. Sadly, I do NOT have central air in my apartment (you'd be surprised how rare it is in LA!) so when temps outside get over 90 (like all of August), my office gets to a temp of 90+ and doesn't cool down until 9pm PST (if I am lucky)

• Silver Lining: I am moving. This is exciting news because I'll be in a better space (WITH AIR) which should allow WAY more flexibility in streaming and creating episodes for the pod.

• WITH ALL THAT SAID. Temps for Monday through Wednesday are predicted over 93+. So, I will send out a poll (in about an hour from now) to see if Thursday, Friday, or Tuesday of NEXT week works better for Game night!

• Again, I want to apologize for the inconsistency with game night, but not sure passing out from the heat on stream is a good idea!

Discord Movie Night (Film Enthusiast tier & above!)

• Monday- August 26th- COHERENCE (bring a notepad to take some notes)

• movie night will be at 5:30pm PST/8:30pm EST

September Horror Theme

• Female Directed horror movies is the next theme of September! We will have the movies announced shortly!!

House of Horrors

• just a reminder, no episode this upcoming 2 weeks. We MAY attend have a bonus episode, so we'll keep you update on that soon!

September overall

• Since I am moving and as a pod we will be attending Fantastic Fest, it may be a busier month for us. We are going to do our absolute best to ensure all episodes are delivered on time, but if anything comes up, we will be sure to always update y'all!

Stickers

• have been ordered! They should arrive in a week or so and then Claira will send them out accordingly.

• the 1 year anniversary stickers will also be going out!
