When people think about Tokyo's Redlight District they always think about Kabukicho. Kabukicho is a great place to party and hangout, but riddled with scam bars and it's. hard to walk in half the district without getting harassed. That plus is hard to find soaplands that are foreigner friendly. The OG redlight district is called Yoshiwara, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the Asakusa temple (Which is way better to visit at night) and has over 120 soaplands. I kid you not the entire small district is nothing other than soaplands, and fake coffee shops that will usually give you free coffee and show you the menus for some of the soaplands hahaha. Some of the important notes would be that if the price seems too cheap, it probably is just the bath fee and doesn't include full service. So make sure to ask. The second note is that the cheaper places also normally photoshop the girls photos a lot so they might look quite a bit different. Keep that in mind! This district is wayyyyyy quieter than Kabukicho too in terms of foot traffic so you don't need to worry about a bunch of other tourists staring at you.
