Hey thanks! Yeah I think live drawing is the most important thing, I mean that’s the basis for any and all art, capturing what’s around you and how you interact/interpret it. To be honest though compared to my peers at calarts I always felt like I was weak in this category so seriously appreciate the compliment.

Yeah…I’m just trying to expose myself to what makes me anxious at this point, mainly because my instinct is to avoid and I’ve never been happy with the results . I just gotta be wise with not going to deep too fast, and making sure I’m kind to myself in the process!

Uhhh OK Sobisona, just because your friends play catch on the freeway doesn’t mean you should do it too.
But seriously I’m a little envious of those sketch pages, so full of life, gesture, and emotion.
Back in the day we ID majors were merely taught to indicate figures. And at some decades remove I believe that was a mistake. Real people use products, cars and environments so that should’ve been reflected in our drawing.
