Thank You Patrons!

As I'm sure some of my Patreon supporters might not use social network sites, or simply don't follow me on twitter, I wanted to post this here as well:

With the day coming to a close, I want to take a moment to join with so many other creators and issue a huge, and very heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful people who've helped support my channel.

The last 2 years have been eye-openers, but despite all the ups and downs, wild demonetisations, bogus content ID matches, adpocalyse (and adpocalypse v2.0), my Patreon supporters have helped give me the confidence to experiment and take chances on less financially sure content.

Because of you, not only have I been able to return and commit to series that I know won't draw a particularly large audience, but I've also been able to start experimenting with the format. Put more time into editing, play with new ideas, and attend workshops on video editing that I simply wouldn't have been able to afford to travel to before.

So to all of you: #ThankYouPatrons !

Comments

Hello, Aavak! Sorry to necro an old post, but I don't want to be off-topic on a new one, and this one seems to be more open to random comments. I was wondering if you'd be at all interested in playing GreedFall? I saw MatN's taster of it, and I think it would suit your sweet and thoughtful style perhaps better than his brash humour. Also: I'm really glad you've been able to do some less popular stuff. I've been supporting you for around 2 years now (according to my patreon profile), and while I no longer watch everything you produce as soon as it comes out, your Expeditions: Viking is one I come back to even long after the fact. So thank you :) All the very best to you and yours, -Cthulhu's Mum

You're welcome. I am happy that you've said what you're doing here, albeit in a very condensed form. It says that my little contribution is helping you to accomplish your goals and improve your talent, which is what a patron is supposed to do for an artist. Being part of a patron "pool" is a good way for you to be supported and be able to grow. Watching that growth is like standing at the door of an art studio and watching "my" artist working on technique while at the same time producing a beautiful work of art for me to enjoy. I'm proud to be part of your growth.
