2025-01-26 19:43:16 +0000 UTCHey Chris!! Appreciate the support - usually when I'm editing, I tend to just go off what I wrote in the script as a baseline. The bracketed portions help to chart out the points I absolutely need to express in the edit while anything else I need to put in comes up naturally during the course of the process, if that makes sense. I usually try to collect the exact media sources I think I need for the video before editing but even then, I find myself having to download more during the fact!!

When you edit it, I take it you have some sort of alternate script with sound and video cues? I have a very small yt channel going over the history of guitar based companies so I'm always fascinated to see how others work. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to part 2.

I got to say this new deep dive your doing is so much better than anything that VH1 ever put out for their music docs. Speaking of VH1 and King Crimson, if you go on YouTube, there is a video of Robert Fripp from the late 1980s on a show called New Visions. That show was all about showcasing New Age and Jazz acts. Check it out and I think you will enjoy it.
