November progress

It was a decently productive month. A lot of annoying tasks got done, but nothing to really show for it. At the end of the previous month I started a rename effort to clean up the naming within the project. Basically I separated the character's story name from their code name. This way file, model, texture, material and animation names are more consistent in length and clarity. For example CoolerDrone to R-cld or Kate to F-cat. Actual in game names can more easily change.

This rename effort ended up being a way bigger task than I had anticipated. Lots of assets need to be renamed in a correct order as to not mix up certain references. This far the project had also been somewhat inconsistent on how I organize files, especially animation files. This means that I had to sort through the mess, trying to figure out what is necessary and what isn't. Now the renaming is almost done thankfully. In some parts automation scrips came to help, but in others I had to hand rename, probably a few hundred instances of names.

I did get to improve some actual things too though. I tested out a different tool for boob physics. It wasn't as good as the one I'm currently using, so didn't switch anything up. I did learn more about the settings though and figured out a way to fix the overly strong jiggle at the beginning of animations. 

I still think I'm on track to getting the renaming finished and proper animations done for the demon girl before the end of the year. If so, I should be able to get another smaller build out within this year.
