October progress

It was a good productive month. I think I got everything I wanted done, possibly even more so. I already talked about the planned works in previous month's post, but I'll summarize them here. Movement option detection lag fixed, tiles are nicely color coded based on ability used, AI is somewhat functional again and the game is playable. I managed to finally get another playable version (v0.20) out. It is a really stripped down version compared to some previous ones, but that's to be expected due to the amount of changes.

Main interesting element in the new version is the much improved gallery mode. I had made the gallery mode a long time ago now, but as I hadn't gotten a proper version out, it was just sitting in there, inaccessible for everyone.

I already have some fixes I have to do for the game. Some animation related, some with annoying controls. Even with the new version out, I still haven't finished with all the clean up efforts. There is still some garbage code laying around. Some art assets have unnecessary duplicates while in other cases I have accidentally gone too far and deleted too many things. I have to standardize how I name certain things in the project too, just to keep the project side of things better organized.

Some time soon I also finish making the sex animations for the demon girl. I feel like her inclusion is an important part for the next version. Some other animations need improvements too, but demon girl ones take the priority now.

My current plan is to publish one more version before the end of the year. Main element for it should be the demon girl, her sex animations and preferably also some interesting gameplay abilities.
