Confuror 2019 aftermath

So! I finally managed to catch up with /most/ of the work i had pending after the con. So i can finally sit down and digest everything.

Confuror was a surprisingly successful event from my point of view. It's only the second year this con happens, and my first time attending, after knowing of its existence from pictures posted by Magolobo last year. For context, fur cons are non-existant in México. There might have been one or two attempts in past years, but they never reached a wide-enough audience. Usually resulting in just local meetups and the like. But afaik, never with full on hotel halls and panels and all that jazz. I had to man the table for most of the con, but there were panels, events, auctions, parades, all the bells and whistles.

There were also a surprising amount of foreign attendees! Including Siekfried (  http://www.furaffinity.net/user/siekfried ) from Costa Rica on picture 2, as well as Nekonny (author of caribbean blue, paprika, imew,  https://kemono.cafe/ ) from Brazil, currently living in Florida, Chalo from El Salvador ( https://laslindas.kemono.cafe/ ). I heard of several people from Argentina as well. I was really not expecting such a diverse attendance for what seemed a rather local event.

Speaking of attendees, I was super happy to finally meet friends that i've known for years online, but never in person. Avencri, Chalo, Jeso who i've already had the pleasure of meeting irl in the past, Nekonny. The whole Katbox crew ;w; They even threw a bunch of money at me for merch and commissions. I also saw Magolobo again, with whom i've only spoken once in the past in a very different comics convention. And also met Siekfried in person with his many fursuits xD

These guys made this con go from a good experience, to an unforgettable one. I hope we get a chance to meet again and again in future cons.

I also did ink and marker commissions from the first time. I've always ached to do those like the big boys. I also learned i can only do two full color ones on a single 7-9 hour day xD a far cry from my digital output.

I was expecting nobody to recognize my stuff since I rarely go to cons or advertise locally. But a handful of readers did find me! Even from the "translated to spanish" era. A pleasing surprise.
