Happy New Year!!!!!!

My Gf and I went to this neat buffett restaurant to celebrate new year's and stuff ourselves with delicious food. I thought of all the stuff achieved on 2013 and I wanted to share those thoughts with you, so you know where I come from and where i'm going at! I guess this will be a "Me" post. (with a little help of my parents to -get- the loan, since apparently 22 years old is not a safe age to get one, according to the banks >_>). And bought A LOT of shit: A mattress, the sheets, a decent TV, a puff sofa that is cool as fuck, the friggin blinds of the whole apartment (because apparently people here are so cheap they even take those when they move out, same goes with the ceiling lamps, which i had to buy too!) Man, where should I start... You REALLY don't know how cool this is. I feel like... i got 1 million subscribers on youtube... or some crazy internet success like that!! some achievement thousands of people aspire to get, but only one or two do. I still struggle to believe it!! The thing is, being a content creator on the internet is no meritocracy. No matter how much you work, you may never succeed. IMO, i think it's like... 70% luck, and 30% raw resolve and 12-15 hours of work a day. Lemme give you some context. I started commission work back in 2009. To be fair, I actually got my first real commission like one year after that. I was on an awful emotional shithole back then. Highschool was a very... "unpleasant" period of my life. But looking back, it was all that bitterness that gave birth to Fel and everything that came later O.o hurray? It was until 2010 that I began doing My Life with Fel, not knowing shit about webcomics, writing or the internet. I saw all these years of uncertain non-stop work suddenly MATERIALIZE IN FRONT OF MY EYES. i was like OH MY GOD WHAT'S HAPPPEEEEEENNNIIIINNNNNNG!??! 4 years of work actually yielding results! results i could see! results i could TALK TO! Oh god!! ALL the patronage collected 'till now!! ALL the fanart!! ALL the hangouts!! the SUPER RIG YOU SENT ME! GOD! THAT'S THE COOLEST GIFT I'VE RECIEVED IN MY -LIFE-. ALL the amazing people!! I swear man, you're the coolest, kindest people i've met, both IRL and not!. You're like... the counterpart to all the internet hatred, death, and destruction that anonymity creates D: You keep the thin balance of this world! Man, this last couple of months have been the funniest, most inspiring ones of my whole life. You make me so proud! You're something i can even BRAG to my asshole arrogant disney-suckers unoriginal artists colleagues down here!. "Oh yeah? you're doing some mobile videogame? Well, my fans give me a couple thousand pesos more of your salary a month, and they sent me a PC. What have you achieved in life?" >:3 2014 will be an amazing year for me and My life with Fel. I don't even know what's going to happen! -I want to open an e-junkie shop and sell the after-hours comics for a couple bucks for the non-patron masses, as well as my other digital products, so i can kick the middleman in the nuts! -I want to keep doing monthly wallpapers! geez people please nag me about making them, i keep forgetting! -I wanna get to 2k followers on tumblr!
