My teacher invited me to give a presentation to their class about my experiences as a beginner artist and how I manage and plan my work. In addition, I should present a little project to explain my process, so I had the idea to do a character design based on an object!
So, last month I asked some ppl here to vote on which of those four images I should use as a reference to design my next adoptable. Option A got way more votes than the rest, which surprised me (I was cheering for option C ngl hehe).
(The presentation was really great btw! I was so nervous that I was about to vomit, but it lasted only 1-minute lmao)
I know that can look like a mess, but I want to share the entire brainstorm and the process to create that Kakuen-based monster girl which... I put in a lot of love and even her concept made me even change the setting I have for Sette's story. I'm really happy |3
I need to especially thank my teacher, Pedro Ferrer (his artstation and twitter) for all the help/feedbacks on her! The timelapse and the rough sketch were made by him :3
Hope you all enjoy it! And if you guys don't mind, I have a question!
What do you think about those characters that can be based on a random object? Is it cool? Should I do more of that? Let me know! Thank you <3
