Fresh Nudge for July!

Time for a fresh nudge, and to see if anyone has new things they'd like to see in the peeks.  Also if anyone has any new questions they'd like to see in a Q&A post!  Perhaps you'd like a question answered from the perspective of one of the characters?  Either way, ask away!  That's what the nudges are for!

Comments

This is what I posted as a comment on the chapter where it was learned that scions could learn and unlock rooms. It was in response to Jello learning metalworking and her purifying effect leading to purifying weapons. I started getting side track and though it might be better here. Oh I love this idea.... Could they then be considered a greater reward? Would they impact any user's holy affiliations? Like a conflict of God's or preventing a "fallen" from using it? Could it be the first "Holy" weapon type with no affiliations? Making it extremely valuable to adventures? What if Grim helped, could he somehow imprint a life or death affinity effect to the weapon? Why can't Grim learn metalworking? (Other than that I don't think it would fit his style.) A good grounds keeper needs to know how to maintain their gear after all. As for Fluffles, floating metal blobs would be very interesting. Could he somehow melt the metal in the air and shape it while molten and just hold it there. Giving the basic shape before you start folding or whatever else? If he learned the heat and cold affinities (I forget if he has them) could he apply precision heat or cold? What about Diem's newest scion? Wouldn't she be good at it if she learned fluffles telekinesis? (Though worries about violet and melting.... Hm...) Can she learn the cold affinity with Rocky to allow her more freedom in her actions? What if she learns to focus all the heat into one spot. Like how Rocky pulls heat into his punches. Only a hot head and a frozen tail? Idk. Thoughts. What's she up to anyways? Or Grim. Has the Raven come back to see Grim in awhile? Does Poe like to hang around Grim from time to time? Just to relax in peace and quiet compared to the noise of the courtyard? If a dungeon gets advanced enough could it make lesser scions? Or the spawns gain intelligence over time as they retain their memories leading to some becoming the equivalent of lesser scions? (Then again, I feel this was somewhat explained away with the upgrades to spawners but still. Pie having subordinates would be cool.) Plus there was that question that the DM wondered if he could get another voice at some point. Idk. Again, thoughts. Oh and if he's telling the SouthWood about the gaining scions thing, couldn't he then tell violet? She is a closer ally I feel. Plus she has things he'd like. Idk

Blue Trooper

Kind of want to see an undead get together with the scions never get to see them interact

TheLost

Hello there, I have a small suggestion and have been waiting for a new nudge. What if Thedeam created a good old fashioned park complete with wooden playgrounds and exercise equipment? For regular citizens who don't want to fight anything but still support with mana creation. A walk path should work like the gauntlet right? Also, I think a Fishing Lodge near the lighthouse run by Ratkin and Spiderkin would attract more mana for hullbreak. Complete with a wagon going to and from town twice a day.

Michael Moreno

The daily training delve of the Crystal Shield from their perspective would be nice. Especially the one where they first started to help Jello.

Stickboy172

The three captured by The DM have speculated about this before.

Stickboy172

I know this is a pretty simple question, but is there a master list of characters and descriptions? I'm guilty about mixing up small details about the characters. Especially the non-scion ones

Folly Industries

I personally believe it just plays fart.mp3 when opened.

Ottstop

Honestly, I just really want to see more from the perspective of Coda XD

LinaBoeckwurm

After reading some other people’s wants; I think I agree with Stickyboy172’s ask about the king. Getting to know the type of person that rules the kingdom; as well as their thoughts on thediem once they get the report could be rather interesting. Well Wishes to all who read this.

I'd like to see if there are any reactions, especially from outsiders, to how many people from the town delve in Thedeim. And if there is any noticeable impact to the average level for the town's citizens, Culture shock is one of my favorite things to read haha

Herakilla

Yoooooo I forgot about the door

rawrfish1

Do the townsfolk know what Thedeim's affinity is by now? I know that dwellers are aware. The adventurers know that a dungeon has a singular shared affinity but has anyone connected the dots or at least taken the lack of major injuries as being too unlikely?

Robothaus

I really would like to know the last upgrade of the squeaky door since it was too expensive in the beginning. It bugs me that it got teased but never expended on

Magnadra

Can we have the perspective of a group of denizens that are about to engage a group of Delvers. (And I guess the fight)

Alex Turff

I had a few questions that have been itching in the back of my skull for quite some time now. Sorry if this post is too long or covers things that weren't supposed to be overtly important to the narrative. 1. In chapter 144 Rezlar was said to have deflated and asked "Why didn't you tell me Thedeim was a god?" So my question is; is Thedeim actually a divine being of sorts, or is it possible that there is interference coming from Heaven and or the angel that sent him to the new world? 2. But the response by Aranya in chapter 145 that "It wasn't important at the time." stuck in my head as well my follow-up question is how does divinity work in your world anyways? If something is powerful enough on its own can it be considered a god, or is faith the secret sauce that brings power?
