AATS - THE SECOND EPISODE | JULY PROGRESS: THE MID PRODUCTION UPDATE

JULY PROGRESS
July was one of my most productive months in a long time, after hitting a rough burnout I think I can officially say that I've bounced back from it and have felt a wave of motivation this month that I haven't felt for a while. I'm at that stage in production where I am beginning to actually visualize the finish line, which has probably added on to my sudden motivation. Projects can feel draining when you're just working endlessly on them, not knowing when you'll actually finish them up by. I know I've been saying that I've been at the halfway point of production for a while, but this is truly the height of it and I'll be making my way to the finish line within the next months of 2025.

Of course this is subject to change, I don't want to crunch myself, but at this point in time I have marked December 26th 2025 as the episode's estimated release date, with the Animation wrapping up in November if I'm able to stay on track. If not December, then it's looking like January 2026 for sure, but finishing this up soon is definitely a very realistic goal which is exciting. If I'm able to stay on track, this is what the remaining months of 2025 will look like for production:

During July, I finished the animation and rendering for Sequences 2 and 4 of Scene 5, and returned to work the keyframes, animation, and comp of Scene 2. Though I didn't fully finish Scene 2 in time, I'm very close to the end and should be finishing it up within the first weeks of August.

AUGUST GOALS
Like the image shows above, I plan on fully finishing Scene 1's animation and compositing during August. I'd also like to tackle the keyframes and animation of Scene 4 to get that giant chunk of a scene out of the way. (And of course wrapping up what little I have left of Scene 2)
