Ye it is a weird choice. I think weird choices are more interesting. And ye she calls Freddy he b/c they were introduced as Pastor’s “son” Freddy doesn’t care either way so they don’t mind.

2019-12-06 08:42:28 +0000 UTCIn my experience 'dude' can be applied to girls and guys and Clover also calls girls 'dude' in the show, so it feels fine to me. And Only Pastor is called 'he' b/c they hate women and don't want to be referred to as one. For that reason Pastor also calls Freddy "son" but Freddy doesn't really care about gender. Violetta and Moores are always referred to as women tho.
