Dumbo (Full Reaction)

It's time to watch Dumbo!! Despite this film’s brevity, it manages to leave a lasting emotional imprint. Dumbo is a tender, heartfelt story that highlights the struggles of being different, the power of hope, and the importance of friendship.

Dumbo’s life would have never improved if someone hadn’t believed in him. With the friendship of a courageous mouse who stands up to bullies and a magical feather that symbolizes belief in one’s self, this film highlights the importance of friendship and perseverance. Dumbo’s journey reminds me a little of Shrek’s since they both deal with societal beauty standards and the message that what makes you different can be your strength.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see my favorite ride at Disneyland portrayed in this film! What’s your favorite ride at Disneyland?

Watched on: Disney+  / Runtime: 1:03:59

Hope you enjoy!! ❤️🐑

That’s surprising, I would’ve thought it was too scary for you! I have so much nostalgia for it. My siblings and I used to go to my Great Aunt’s on NYE, watch Twilight Zone, watch the ball drop, then go to bed and have ice cream for breakfast. I looked forward to it every year.

Baby of Mine is such a sweet song!! YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT ALICE IN WONDERLAND!! I completely forgot about it. Yup! I love those two rides. Can't believe I forgot about them.

Jacqueline

That's an awesome fun fact!!

Jacqueline

They've changed Star Tours now and turned it into a 3D ride. The updates are pretty cool!

Jacqueline

Yeah it was a bummer. I'll just have to go back again and make sure it's open that time. It would be cool to go in October for Halloween.

Future_Boy85

I used to watch the Twilight Zone marathon on New Years eve too!

Jacqueline

Haunted Mansion is a great ride! I watched a video online of the Hong Kong Disneyland version called Mystic Manor and it looks so different but really cool. What a bummer you couldn't go on the Disneyland one! They decorate it through Halloween and Christmas to make themed after The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jacqueline

I didn't notice that!

Jacqueline

I'm comfortable enough to admit that I hard cried during the Baby of Mine song. That song has always made me start sobbing and when I was little, I'd always snuggle into my mom's arms when we'd watch it. The pink elephants sequence is such a mind trip, but it is so brilliantly animated! I don't think I ever realized how stunning it was until now! Hard picking just one ride at Disneyland, but I'll go with Indiana Jones. That was the first ride I ever remember getting a sneak peek at growing up and I just loved it! And Jax, Alice in Wonderland also has 2 rides at the park. The usual story ride and also the Teacups!

Dumbo holds an unbreakable record for the least amount of lines said by the protagonist in a Disney movie at zero. Dumbo is silent for the entire movie. Dumbo and Timothy are absolutely hammered when they see the pink elephants.

Ha🤯"Pinocchio Aaand Dumbo!?"👀 .....I said with excitement and gumption for 1st time since 90s* God bless ya Jax*😌

We got to do all the parks. The biggest memory for me is after the parade, we asked jokingly if they were going to kill us because we had seen to much. The Disney cast person said “ No, we are just going to make you ride “It’s a Small World” 10 times. We all were like “No that is a fate worse than death”

MrDannySteele

Ha I went to Disney World with my high school marching band too! It would've been 2002-2003ish. The main thing I remember is we barely had any time in the parks because of the competition. Star Tours is awesome. They've done a good job with the updates over the years. There used to be a similar ride in Epcot which I loved called Body Wars. It was similar to the Magic School Bus. They would "shrink" you and you'd enter a human body to see how white blood cells work.

Mike Smith

I have been to both multiple times. The last time was with my high school marching band and we got to play in the Magic Kingdom back in 2008. My favorite is Star Tours. I haven’t been there since Disney bought Lucasfilm. This movie has proven to be somewhat problematic due to the racist stereotypes depicted

MrDannySteele

I've never been to Disneyland but I've been to Disney World! My favorite ride is the Tower of Terror. Growing up, watching the Twilight Zone marathon on New Year’s Eve was a family tradition, so I was excited to enter the Fifth Dimension. The Imagineers used archival footage from the show and a Rod Serling vocal impressionist to create an authentic experience. Nowadays they’d just use A.I.

Mike Smith

I'd say my favorite Disney ride is the Haunted Mansion 👻 I love it! I've only been able to ride it in Florida though. When I went to California the Haunted Mansion was closed 😭💔

The mouse name is Timothy Q. Mouse, you can see it at the end on the hollywood contract.
