Mrs. Doubtfire (Early Access)

Get your popcorn, grab your whipped cream face mask, and let's watch Mrs. Doubtfire! I can't believe that Mrs. Doubtfire is over 30 years old. This movie came out when I was three and I don't think of that as being over three decades ago! 😅

Synopsis: Troubled that he has little access to his children, divorced Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) hatches an elaborate plan. With help from his creative brother Frank (Harvey Fierstein), he dresses as an older British woman and convinces his ex-wife, Miranda (Sally Field), to hire him as a nanny. Mrs. Doubtfire wins over the children and helps Daniel become a better parent -- but as Daniel's doubt life gets more complicated, his secrets may be exposed.

Robin Williams stole the show in this movie. It was hysterical and heart warming all at the same time. What an important film for any child watching their parents go through a divorce.

I hope you enjoy!!! ❤️🐑🎉

I know that this is a light hearted comedy; but unfortunately I had just watched an interview of Matthew Lawrence and how even as a young actor he would see Robin Williams weeping in his private trailer between scenes. And that Robin Williams tried to explain why he was so sad; but Matthew Lawrence was young at the time, so he admits that he didn’t really understand the depths of Robin Williams sorrow, but he did see it. So, obviously this movie was way too painful for me to watch right now.

BTW, have yet to see your Alien reaction. And I might not wanna. I love that movie deeply, it is so well made and ahead of its time, but the thought of watching you watch that makes me uncomfortable. You finished it, you got it, you owned it. Good job. Alot of movies on that poll you did are actual horror movies. If you do "fun-scary" again, please have trusted friends and family vouch for those films before they go on a public poll. I am only saying these things because the "Mrs. Doubtfire" edit must have been such a relief after Alien.

Honestly, I don't own this movie, nor did I plan to rent it. I waited for the edit. It surprised me how much I enjoyed it through your eyes. I maybe watched it a few times as a kid, but nothing stood out. And then you show up and give new insight and meaning and depth. I didn't cry to this movie as a kid, but here I am, an old cantankerous guy, and cheeks are wet 'cause eyes are leakin'. I did not expect that here. Thank you Jax for being you.

I was so excited to see you were reacting to this. You did not disappoint! You are my favorite reactor for a reason. Great reaction as always. I find myself responding to you, as if I was really watching with you; kinda weird, right?! Anyway, keep being amazing!

William

Great synopsis! I like your writing style.
