Oh btw, Noah is a deer in the sketch for page 17, not a wombat, because I thumbnailed this comic a very long time ago when Noah's design wasn't finished yet. I changed him to a wombat instead of a deer later on. He will, of course, remain his wombat-y self.
If anyone's wondering why I changed him: Noah is supposed to be pretty skinny and malnourished, not buff-looking, and a skinny deer reminded me and others a bit too much of Louis from Beastars. I don't think you should always change everything just because someone says, "Oh, this reminds me of..."—since everything stems from somewhere, and you could say that about pretty much any piece of content or even thing. But Noah being a deer would have also meant drawing antlers in perspective over and over again... so I was fine with changing it. I also wanted to stick with an animal that has a mostly plain coat (so no zebra, etc.), and one that doesn't get many characters, so I went with wombat.
