Moneyberg Update #2

Good Evening Gang!

I hope you're all doing well, as always, its time for another Sunday night update. So last week I had said I was going to work on this Fakes and Frauds spin off episode for a week or so to see how it was panning out.

So I spent most of the week just researching and writing, and as of now, I've got a little over a half an hours worth of material, and I'm pretty confident this is some good shit, so it's full steam ahead. I read part of the script to Mrs B, and not only was I was in tears laughing reading it, it almost made her vomit, so after that, I know this video was a runner. Shoutout to my Wife, shes a trooper.

I'm honestly not sure how long this one will be, as I said I've got maybe 35 minutes worth of recorded audio, and there's still some stuff to go, but I feel like this one will top out around 45-50 minutes or so. As such I could honestly envision this being finished in maybe 3 weeks or so. But don't hold me to that!

Because the focus of this one is on a guy who appears to have bought a BJJ Black Belt, I actually hit up my former coach from 10th Planet who is vastly more knowledgeable than myself for a chat (shoutout to Danny Kennedy on insta! https://www.instagram.com/danny_10p_dub ). Danny is still probably the best Coach I've trained with, and was just a super cool, funny guy, so I was delighted when he agreed to hop on a call.

We had a really fun chat so Ill upload it as a separate podcast style episode for Patrons when I'm done with the video. Speaking of guests, there may* also be a well known YouTuber joining me to discuss this one too..

But all in all yeah, I've got the bit between my teeth on this one now, there's some real flesh on the skeleton and I just hope it turns out enjoyable. What I will say for anyone worried that this is only going to appeal to BJJ practitioners or people otherwise super knowledgeable about the sport, that's 100% not the case. You don't need to know anything about BJJ to enjoy this one and that's a guarantee. Much like how I approach MMA videos as if i was writing them for someone who knows nothing about MMA, the same goes for this one. This guy Moneyberg is a scammer first and foremost, and a BJJ guy dead fucking last.

Also I should point out this video definitely won't be titled "Who the fuck is Derek Moneyberg" when it hits YouTube lol.. they tend to freak out over putting swear words in video titles, the fucking prudes.

Anyway! I've been uploading my old videos to Patreon over the last coupel of days. I had to abandon the Dailymotion idea after all, as i uploaded The Folly of Fantasy Based Fighting to Dailymotion, and found out they don't just restrict a video for any copyrighted content, they straight up clip any offending sections directly out of the video. So at that point I realized there's no point wasting time uploading anything else because the whole fucking point was to have uncensored versions for Patrons. So at some point in the next week, when everything is finally uploaded, I'm going to create a collection right here on Patreon you can access that will have one page, with a list of all the videos in it. Just a one stop shop for everything, no fucking around with external sites.

The only downside to this is it will flood the main page with about a dozen brand new posts, so if you see a sudden slew of posts that are all just re-uploads of old videos, that's what's happened.
