Dante Update #5?

What the fuck is up Dennys!

Sorry for the late update this week, it's been a busy one. We're well and truly through the looking glass in terms of the video, as I've reached 90 minutes of work this week, and sadly for me, still not showing any signs of getting closer to the end..

So the name of the video, "Dante, Dragons and The Death Touch", was because I had wanted to investigate both what happened to the black dragon fighting society, and the science behind the Dim Mak alongside Dante's story. This last weekend was mostly spent reading and writing about the DIM MAK. And let me tell you, if you thought the dim mak was all bullshit, well, you're more or less completely right and i wasted days reading a whole bunch of dim mak books in order to confirm what we all already knew.

It wasn't a total bust though, because I did find this book in which the author claims to have been a secret agent on the trail of a dim mak assassin who had killed dozens with his poison hand technique lmao... also please, please don't buy this book. Its terrible and all that cool shit is literally in one page and then its like 300 pages of dim mak tutorial nonsense.

Also spoiler alert, there is no science behind the dim mak, only bullshit and flim flammery.

I did have a cool idea of asking my coach if he'd like to record a clip for the video of his grappling versus my newfound dim mak skills, but i haven't gotten over the pre-cringe of even asking such a thing, so we'll see how that idea pans out.

But yeah it's been a productive week! The video is honestly gone on way longer than i ever expected and out of those 90 minutes, only maybe 20 are sidebars into the magical world of Black Belt magazine and the dim mak, the rest is all solid Dante material, and with probably still another half hour or so to go, so i reckon this will be close to a 2 hour video or so by the time it's done.

Anyway, that's it for this week, hopefully by next weekend ill be close to the penultimate update before this thing goes live.
