TUF Progress Report #1

And that's a clickbait photo if ever I've seen one 😆

Well it's a small progress update, but just wanted to let you all know its now officially happening, the TUF retrospective is go!

The first 1200 words of the script are done, which is pretty much just the intro, i recorded it this morning and it needs some fine tuning and re-writes but overall its 12 minutes or so and I'm feeling pretty good abut it as i have ALREADY managed to work in a musical segment that makes Real Irishman sound like Pavarotti. 

I'm also putting your Patreon money back into the channel, by hiring a professional musician to create a piece of music specifically for the channel, it's a bit more subtle than you'd expect given my usual output, but all I'll say is keep an ear to the background music for a very special cover version of everyone's favourite Jamaican Dancehall track...

There's an absolute goldmine of memes and legendary moments from this show, Cody Garbrandts "hangin with THA BOYZZZ", Let me bang Bro, pretty much every episode of Season 1, Uriah Hall's "Sorry Adam", after he just severed Adam Cella's soul from this plane of existence, the list goes on.. (if you can think of any good ones I might have missed, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!) so I'm already having fun with this video even after such a short amount of time working on it, so hopefully this will be a good one. I've even gotten a short segment about the man, the myth, the legend, the Just bleed guy in there!

I also chatted with Mixed Martial Academic and he said his video will be out in a week or so, (i did a guest spot in the video, in case you missed the earlier post about it) so keep an eye out for that. Normally I'm not a big fan of youtubers guesting in each others videos as it can feel a bit pointless other than a way of saying "hey look! i know this famous youtuber!", but I'm not famous and neither is Academic, I just think he is a great guy and his channel is too small for someone who puts in as much work as he does, so I wanted to try and help out where I could!

Anyway that's all the update I have for now, in between writing and editing, I'm still playing Cyberpunk Cat game Stray, still haven't finished it, even though it's a short ass game but it's excellent and highly recommended! Also the soundtrack for writing this script is Cute Tragedies | Astrophysics (bandcamp.com) if you enjoy electronica mixed with new wave/post punk and drum and bass, J-Pop and about a million other things, this album is an absolute GEM and you can currently find me  fanboying in the comments all over this dudes youtube channel about how much I love this album.
