How to Draw Hands Tutorial

The past week I have been focusing on making my first youtube video in what feels like forever! It's been so long in fact that I felt kind of nervous about making videos again. I felt out of practice, but in the end it was a lot of fun!
Anyway, I've been asked by so many people over the years to make a How to Draw Hands tutorial, and it always seemed like such a difficult process to explain that I just kept putting it off for later. But I kept thinking about it in the back of my mind, and finally just started writing out the steps and breaking it down.
In the end, I not only finished the video, but took it as an opportunity to learn how to animate a bit using Photoshop's limited animation tools. Here are a few gifs I made of hands from different angles:
I really can't wait to play around with this some and getting to use it in a bunch of ways!
During the video I go over the basic structure common to all hands, and then how to play with the structure to create hands for all different ages and body types. Here are some images I put together for the video as examples:
If you'd like to learn more about drawing hands I think this video would be a good place to start. If anything, you can get a giggle in watching the bloopers. I hope you all like it!
