January 2023 Postcard - Miyajima Floating Torii Gate

(See them here: https://www.post.japanpost.jp/kitte/collection/archive/2022/1214_01/img_item_01.jpg ) The sunset right before they light up the Torii is a magical time if the weather permits. The Torii gate underwent renovations for a few years and completed just a few months ago! I highly recommend spending the night on the island, Japan's no.1 annually voted attraction. For February, we'll get some SNOW in the postcard since I'm traveling to more snowy towns and country side spots! Thank you for being a part of the Postcard Club and this year's set will be the best ever!
