Another superb episode. I wasn't aware about the "song' mating component! One quick question, are we sure it the unit on the frequency of the flapping? Is it per second or per minute? 600 a second sound awfully fast!

Thanks for this great question Sandra! Mosquitoes buzz near our heads because they're attracted, among other things, by the carbon dioxide we exhale.
