The wedding photos and data won’t be available until May 20th from the photographer so the postcards will be a couple of weeks later than usual. The photographer took some amazing photos in a Japanese garden on the wedding day and Kanae and I are really excited to see them! I called them yesterday and they gave me a delivery date. After I get it, I’ll make a design, send them to the printers and a couple days later — OFF THEY GO ✈️ 📮🗼🔜📭
By the way, May’s postcard will be from Osaka or Kyoto! (Which one do you vote for? Send your thoughts to me below :) -John PS: this is a photo my mother took when I was practicing the Shinto ritual of turning a branch at the alter. It’s very important to do it right! I’m still not quite sure why we do it, but I was told it’s an important part of the ceremony.
