2018-05-09 01:31:39 +0000 UTCThose hamster balls (AND the paddle wheel boats) showed up at my favorite local shopping mall about three weeks ago. There were also these huge floating tubes in which you could put three kids at once. I've heard of adult sized hamster balls, which they had at one of the local lakes. So Toyosu is more than the site for the future Wholesale Fish Market - any news on when that will open, and what's going on with the present-day Tsukiji Market? I've heard they closed the inner market to the public already (so much for my idea of buying uni to eat with 7-11 rice), I wonder what the plans are for the outer market. I think they plan to turn Tsukiji into a transport hub for the Olympics.

Rat dog will live on forever and I'll always be looking for him (or her?) when in the area. Guess what?!? I went to the home center (super store with EVERYTHING) and they had "designer rats" as pets. OMG!! I will go back and take a photo next time - to both celebrate rat dog and well, show a real rat pet!
