An Alternate Take of my Panic! At The Disco Video

not knowing when I'd be called into the hospital for labor, I made this super-interrupted/edited version of the video I rerecorded this morning.

An Alternate Take of my Panic! At The Disco Video

Comments

Haven't had a chance to listen to the album but I did love "Roaring 20s" off their previous project (and who, of course) does not love "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." A Canadian pop rock band that has really adopted the rock musical motif (at least since their second album) has been the B.C.-based Marianas Trench whose lead vocalist (Josh Ramsay) went to UBC for a degree in music (his vocal range, like Urie's is pretty spectacular) and who produces and writes all the music for the band. Starting with 2009's "Masterpiece Theatre" the band's albums ("Ever After"; "Astoria"; "Phantoms") have followed a similar layout: a six minute-plus opening and closing track that tie the themes of the album and a middle (sixth) track that calls back to the opener and sets up the closer. The lead singer is also the one who re-wrote and re-produced Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" from an indie folk song into the pop banger it became.
