It's funny, I listened to five minutes of your review, checked out bits and pieces of her work, immediately thought "She reminds me a bit of Mary Lou Williams"; and sure enough you mention Mary Lou Williams later on, and Moor Mother does as well on the album. Funny how influences work. I really look forward to listening to this Moor Mother album; I probably wouldn't have heard of it, if not for you.
