Mayuka's performance of Heartbeat is the reason I watch this type of show. There is nothing to compare with that moment when a performer pulls something out of themselves that even they didn't know was there. Sweet smiling Mayuka found the pain hidden inside her and so was able to express the sadness in the song. Pure magic.

Even thought I've watched this show several times, I always expect the Season One showcase performance to be Icy instead of Dalla Dalla. But no? More Dalla Dalla? Ok, I guess! 😅 Wannabe came out somewhere in the middle of filming Season Two.
