It was week of pain but the test print of the big nun statue succeeded. Release will be tomorrow morning!
The statue comes in 4 parts (Wings, Base and body) so even people with small printers can manage.
Anyway. Also made some statues for the facade/walls of the cathedral. (There are going to be lots more of these specific details.) These wil also be an separate release. (Because the entire cathedral is taking a long time)
You guesed it. The cathedral will have interchangeable resin components with lots of details. It will be WAY more epic then any "consumer" FDM printer can handle. I also have some big plans to make it more budget friendly when printing walls and such. Think of thin walls of plasticard or cardboard with printed details/texture stones etc. for example! The facade statues will fit in cutouts in the wall.

It's going to be MOST EPIC scenery kit EVER!
I'm thinking of making it a kickstarter when done. (Could be my big break! :) )
But rest assured my patrons will have it cheaper than on kickstarter.

2023-06-27 07:02:20 +0000 UTCSorry for the delay. Some new resin I used wasn't meant for big models. (Separated into components in 24 hours of mixing). So it's not very useful for big prints. The solution it seemed was pausing the print in arround 8 hours of print time. mixing the resin in the vat en restarting. (I had no other resin available at this time.).
