Epubs borked for me, it's not respecting font size showing really small text. 272's is fine though. 274 and 275 are also broken in the same way, that's all I checked though.

But I believe that not every soldier can be turned into an Incarnation, those are prepared beforehand with special equipment and enchantments. Afterall, the halberd Incarn fighting Halgrave would have destroyed anything but a silverplate halberd with his strength. And even if high-bronzes are extremely rare, a coordinated squad of mid-bronzeplates could protect the mining camp. It seems that after conquering all of Ekrustia, the Empire is stretched too thin. Vannon had to conscript Anya to help him and she has to run around fixing leaks and conscripting awakened to protect important infrastructure. Like Reece said, Vannon isn't a very good leader and his Empire could very well fall apart if he doesn't get things under control.

They have low-level specialized mooks that synergize in numbers and are otherwise little better than unawakened. And flunkies like the 'Knives' from way back at Three Cliffs are both specialized for PvP and rare.

Vannon's amnesty seems to be something used for awakened like Guilders, conscripting them into service rather than killing them. Things must be really bad across the continent, if they can't spare a single high-bronze soldier for the defense of the mining camp.

2024-06-30 11:51:32 +0000 UTCI got diagnosed with adhd a few months ago and am 10 times more productive because of the meds now. I just wish i got diagnosed sooner. If wanting to do something but not being able to because of 0 motivation sounds familiar, maybe try watching a few videos made by adhd adults who speak about their experiences. I am glad that youtube randomly decided to recommend me one of those. I also only got stuff done due to stress before. It feels miserable. Hope you find a proces you like. :)

2024-06-30 07:36:52 +0000 UTCI used to say I survived on stress and coffee. I reduced the coffee, improved my sleeping habits/routines and life got a lot better. Still mess up sometimes with deadlines, but at least I feel human and can cope better.
