Not a very productive week.

 Hello my dear patrons !

I'm sorry I didn't post much lately.

When it's not pain in my body it's something else. So 2 days ago I suddenly got something weird going on with my right eye and my vision. all of a sudden after reading, I couldn't see well at all and had something like a grey veil on my vision and the sensation something was stuck on my eye. It lasted two day and  the ophthalmologist sent me to the IR in case it could be something neurologic  ...

They refused to do complementary exams asked by the ophthalmologist and sent me back home saying it was probably a side effect of one of my meds I have been taking for almost a year. To say the truth, I also thought it was a side effect of the same medication but I would have been reassured to do the exams.

I hadn't been taking this med for a full month and had decided to be back on it 2 days before. I'm not taking that medication anymore in case it's the culprit. I wasn't a fan of it anyway ( antibiotic). I've also been having  a mild headache  and accouphens for 10 days so it's probably just a migraine and the eye thing  happened when I got back on the antibiotic.

Anyway, if everything goes according to plan , which means if I feel okay enough , I'm planning a photoshoot next week.  I'll also record the installation process.

Let's hope my body allows it !!

I wish you a nice or night and see you soon !

Not a very productive week.

I don't think it's a typical migraine because mild pain is still there after 10 days in both sides of my head and in the right eye for 4 days now. The vision troubles lasted 48 hours and I already had it before but just a few minutes. Its Like blood doesn't circulate well in this area. I still have the pressure on the eye and low pain behind it but I don't even pay attention to it. it's probably another functional problem like I have everywhere else. the Ophthalmologist called me back though and want to see me back. we'll see.

Seeing a photo of you will always prompt me to click "like" even though the news is not so agreeable. Hopefully, the symptoms were temporary and will not recur. My thoughts are with you, little leaf, take care and stay safe.

If it comes back I would head back to the doctors and insist on the tests, both on the eye and on the neurological side of things (and mention the possibilities above so they make sure they check everything, doctors being lazy and unconcerned these days). But hopefully it will just be a one time scare. And hopefully these scares will stop happening. You deserve some peace.

Worth noting if it happens again: how long did the vision issue last (an hour or less is likely the ocular migrane)? Is the headache predominantly on one side of your head, lasts for three days or less, and gets worse when you move around? Either way it's something to keep an eye on (terrible pun entirely intended :-) )

You just can't catch a break. :-( The tinnitus, blurred vision in one eye, and headache do all point to the most likely culprit being and ocular/retinal migrane (most likely prompted by lack of sleep and all the fun chaos that can cause in the brain which is why it's so dangerous for epileptics). These don't usually last for 2 days though, if I read your comment correctly. Not fun either way and may recur just like any other migraine. The second most likely culprit would likely be vasculitis caused by an infection or an allergy to a medication. (If it's the allergy to a drug you stopped you may never have it happen again! If it's an infection and it comes back you should go back to the doctor though usually vasculitis is apparent enough for an on the spot diagnosis.) The odds of either being a serious risk or causing any permanent damage are low so that's the good news! Bad news? Could be a retinal tear (have one of those in the family too...I come from a genetic cesspool!) This is also something the eye doctor should have been able to check for. Some better news? It could simply be eye strain or an unusually large floater (which can take a day or two to clear). Perhaps not likely but one can always hope!
