your are right. Even though it is just getting dressed and having fun selecting my clothes it's something normal I like to do. This is the real me. Getting ready took me the afternoon. It may look shallow to some people but since dressing with fun clothing is a hobby for me , it's better to spend hours trying to enjoy something than just laying down starring at the ceiling while ruminating "my life is so sh***y" ( well at least when you get enough strengh to get up. Because I know some people dont have it. I didn't have it a few month ago and it was scarry) Besides, I like to smile. No, better, I love to smile. I love life! It was a tired smile but At least it was a smile of " today was not a good day but I managed to do something of it :) "

I find it absolutely amazing and very important that you try to find the energy to do little things like putting make up and clothes on. It is very important to keep that routine, that little part of an "normal" life just to remind you, that this is the real you. It's not about faking a smile when you are in pain. it is about not letting your sickness define who you are. Stay positive, stay strong!
