Yeah on the dance part I think It's one would have done a lot better with more members. I was trying to mostly look objectively at the performances, but I knew after watching them that mayfly crushed.

Mayfly had decided that all of its members were going to participate in part 1, whereas It's One did not. I think a lot of people might say that it was skewed because of that, but it was the team's choice to not use as many as they could have. With the strong synchronization that The Boyz are known for, I was honestly very surprised that they didn't have more members part of the dance one and instead just had one of the main dancers as part of it. I'm not that familiar with all the teams, but I feel the dance one could have included many more from It's One instead of just 1 from each group. Personally, maybe because I'm not Korean, but I didn't connect that well with It's One's dance. They had cool bits, like catching the sword in midair (Changbin had done that too so I wasn't too in awe of it (for reference, in the MAMA that occurred prior to Kingdom, Stray Kids, The Boyz, and Ateez all did performances to basically announce they were partaking in Kingdom. Changbin had a part that he caught a sword by the handle and I thought that was very cool)), flipping the table with his foot, etc.; but it felt like it didn't have as much dancing as the other group and more "acting" time. I still enjoyed it, but I liked Mayfly's dance a lot more.
For the rap unit, Changbin is my ult bias so that pretty much decided for me before I even saw either one (I'll be honest, I'm totally biased lol). I did enjoy both, but again I felt more connected to Mayfly's rap performance. It's One was more "in your face, get out of our way" type vibe. Mayfly was more "we're all different, but not wrong" and I just liked their message more. I was also partial to Mayfly's because they didn't swear - something I really like about Stray Kid's music as a whole. Sure Bang Chan had the one word that sounded like a swear word, but he didn't actually swear (though of course I know it's meant as a double entendre). I just like it as it's more classy (and I feel I swear too much as an adult and trying to cut back lol).
Looking forward to the next episode!
