I love rewatching this show with both of you. You're both so into it and Nico's underbreath singing ๐คฃ๐ฅฐ๐ I enjoy the genuine chemistry between Choi WooShik and Kim DaMi and if you haven't seen it before and don't mind a little supernatural horror they were both in The Witch Part 1 - The Subversion which was excellent. Also, not sure if you've watched it but Kim DaMi and another Wooga Squad member Park Soo Joon were in Itaewon class which was really good too. Can't wait for the next episode ๐

The first time I saw Choi Woo Shik was in Parasite and it led me to watching his other work. He is one of the best Korean actors. This is a beautiful and nuanced Kdrama and the way the actors emote through small facial and body gestures is impressive. They use silence so well. Itโs one of the dramas that seems more realistic to what many people feel in life. Thank you for choosing this one and I hope we get another episode soon. Youโre at the good partโฆ

2024-08-27 15:48:57 +0000 UTCOne of the best things about this series is that no one is fully right or wrong and that slowly you see their story unfolding from both their different perspectives (like seeing the break up scene from Ungโs perspective one episode and then now we see it from Yeon-Suโs). It just gets better and better. Really enjoying rewatching this with you both ๐ซถ๐ป

Also, I don't know if you guys got this during the editing but the way i took the scene where she is talking to her grandma about the loan in the flashback is that the uncle owed a loan shark and wasn't paying and so the went after the family and it didn't matter that they had no connection to the uncle. Which is why the place was trash like the grandma had been threatened by them. So it looks like they sold the house to pay the loan and they had to move to a smaller place. I really just wish she was more vocal to him about what she was going through at the time she broke up with him.
