2021-02-24 16:05:24 +0000 UTCHis sword is real. Iโm pretty sure he spoke about it on his VLive when he was talking about D-2. He said he had it made my a Korean master sword craftsman. Like others said, it is blunt and i think the blade was changed at some point to make it lighter and easier for him to use. When he spoke about the sword, it seemed pretty important to him that it was right for the video and the song... after all, Yoongi never does anything by half ๐๐

Just a fun fact: the hwando (korean sword) used by Yoongi is real, but they replaced the blade with a lighter metal. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they used aluminium. Plus, he did asked Jimin to train him since Jimin is a kendo master, but Jimin said he did not know how to do it. Sword dance and real kendo training are different!! LOVE U GUYS!! ๐๐๐๐
