One thing to keep in mind for future reference, if making a cake is too much trouble, a few strategically placed dabs of icing (preferably applied after the pizza boy has departed to avoid embarrassment) will remove any thought of cake from the gentleman’s mind. I loved this story, Ms Tea. I totally concur with the Renaissance Faire references, if my 35 year old memories are still fresh. Don’t get me started on the first time I met my late wife’s dad, picking her up to go to a faire. I was dressed as Robin Hood, although it looked more like Peter Pan.
