Heck yea, I personally just find it much more endearing when love is shown as incredibl love and affetion and want to stick with and just love a person. Can't put it into words right but it's so sweet to see a romance and love form and bloom and thrive despite eachother's personal or even environmental problems making dam well sure they'll make it work cause they're that in love!!

It's about finding someone you have chemistry with and giving it a shot. It's even better to start as best friends and then become lovers because then you already know you work well together. A healthy relationship I've found also keeps that best friends dynamic even in the relationship stage.

At one point he had us read 3 of Shakespeare's sonnets together. One was all about how overwhelmingly perfect his lover was, the second was about how terribly drab she was (but he still loves her), and the third was somewhere in between. Then he asked all the women in the room which of the three they would want their lovers to see them as and it got DAMN UNCOMFORTABLE for a quiet minute. Finally one of the gals said something like "I just wish he couldn't see my flaws." But if that was the case, they wouldn't really know and love you and you'd live in constant fear of those flaws being recognized and crushing the styrofoam foundation of the relationship into dust. That conversation has stuck with me ever since...

I value sincerity and when I can see that someone really see's me and my flaws, but accepts and loves me, it becomes so much more romantic than rose-tinted attraction. But people are all very different. Love how you love :)
