This week I've also started on a small project for NoahJ's next mapping competition! The maps theme is videogames and I've chosen to make a map based on the Nightmare before Christmas PS2 game "Oogie's Revenge".

This is just a small project I'll be doing on the side in order to enter into the mapping contest, my main focus is still going to be Mob of the Dead! I chose Oogie's Revenge as it has a fairly simple style, meaning I can build the map fairly quickly compared to if I chose a game with higher graphic fidelity. It also gives me an excuse to play around with a Low-Poly style which is something I've been wanting to do in a map for quite a while now. I will be using this map as a testing ground for features I'd like to expand on in the future in my Vegas Project, such as a shop feature and alternate currency.

If you happen to have any ideas for this map, feel free to leave them here! It's just a bit of fun for the mapping competition so any wild ideas I'm open to incorporating!
