Added 2015-04-30 18:45:16 +0000 UTCAwesome news that I can't believe I've forgotten to say until now -- Carnegie Mellon University is hosting a hackathon for Explorable Explanations! http://www.NowIGetItJam.com/ It was partially inspired by my Parable of the Polygons, and they've invited me to give a video keynote, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no1dxY_1v5Y The jam starts tomorrow, (May 1-3) and the challenge topics are really diverse, ranging from thermodynamics to macroeconomics, dating violence to food stamps. I'm excited to see what comes out of this! It's a huge step forward for interactive learning, coz as I say in my keynote video... “We could make a more understanding world.
