Why I Actually LOVED The House of the Dragon Finale! (Unedited)
Added 2024-08-06 08:06:59 +0000 UTCSaw a lot of initially negative reactions to this finale, and then Fazli and reacted to it (yes, that full reaction is coming today as well)...and we really enjoyed it. So much so, in fact, that I decided to give it a 10 on IMDb. We genuinely felt that this was an extremely exciting finale that wrapped up most of the storylines that season 2 has been building in an effective way.
So, I decided to make a lil' essay detailing everything I loved about this finale, and why I think it doesn't deserve all the hate it's getting. Yes, maybe it would have been more exciting to have a huge battle, but what we DID get was extremely effective character moments that closed out longstanding arcs in a satisfying way.
