2018-08-20 17:11:04 +0000 UTCThe shape sifter's line in "Into The Bunker" is explained in this episode. "That six fingered nerd hasn't been himself in 30 years." The bunker is in underground caverns next to the gateway cavern. So the shape sifter could hear Stanley through the cavern walls working on getting the portal working again, but couldn't see him to know that he was a different person. All it could tell was that who it thought was Stanford just suddenly started acting differently.
