Hard at it

Sorry for the lack of fun posts over the last week or so, I’m working hard to get the first part of the new Charlotte story done before taking a Christmas break for a few weeks. I intend to release the whole 22-page "issue" onto Patreon on Jan 4th. But I’ve been drawing like a fiend since February and it’s time for a break - in photos, my eyes look like two swirling voids! Only five pages to draw until I issue myself with a rest.
I’ve been thinking about my vape shops. The various lockdowns and restrictions this year have stopped me really getting to grips with developing vape shop culture so I’ve had to set up various imaginary strategies to keep up with the popular and mystifying (mist-ifying) modern habit in which, needless to say, I have never indulged.
I’d like to say that this is the tip of the iceberg but it isn’t, there are many more baffling vape shop images in my sketchbooks and on my iPad. I have a whole Christmas catalogue that I can produce upon request.
It’s been a funny old year.
Don’t ask me why this rabbit has a crucifix and a rosary - that was Dan Berry’s idea and I did not approve of it.
2021’s slate of stories for the website is shaping up nicely. Hopefully I’ll get to draw them all. If I do, I think you’ll enjoy them.

Oh my God. Lottie and the reverend. Now the question is just where will they meet? Tackleford or Tegredyn? And who was murdered to get her involved? Oh, I just saw, it is Cornwall. Charlotte will have a blast.
