Weekly Progress – Longsword Released, Greatsword Next

This week, I released Longsword Overhaul: Early Access.
Most of the animations that bothered me while playing Oblivion Remastered—especially for longswords—are now fixed.

Still, I’ve been thinking… Even the default one-handed idle pose feels too stiff. It doesn’t look like someone ready for battle. Maybe I should fix that too, eventually.

Next week, I’ll focus on the greatsword (third-person).
The idle pose for two-handed weapons looks even worse—like they're not ready to fight at all.
So I plan to improve not just the attacks, but also the idle and movement animations.

Also, I want to make animations change based on gear, like we did in Skyrim with DAR or OAR.
I saw a mod called Female Locomotion Replacer that changed movement based on gender—so I believe it's possible to do the same with equipment.

But honestly, I'm not sure if I can pull it off. I'm just… not that smart.
Still, I really want to try.
