I forgot to mention, there are Berserk games, three of them for PlayStation I think. I don’t have them, but the music from the games is fantastic!

I’d like to know the background for Zodd as well! He is a mystery! We get pieces of Skull Knights background, but we as reader are not sure if it is his history. We just assume that SK is the former King Gaiseric. Oh yeah, Guts riding on Zodd’s back! A bad ass moment in a story with lots of bad ass moments! Got to love it! Followed by Guts passing out and not giving a shit. 💕 I agree, Griffith is a great character! The one we love to hate! As with all Berserk characters, he is more gray than white. One thing that distinguishes Guts’s character over Griffiths is his ability to adapt. Guts has learned a lot about himself and others through hard knocks. He’s a much more heroic character than Griffith. Griffith after all, only has one goal. Guts has many goals and he will not let go of the most important one. Now will Guts save a stranger? Maybe not. You have to be in his group for him to act like a momma bear. The Kushan army, the artwork depicting them is breathtaking! I wonder how long it took to draw that! I know Miura has assistance, but not much. It’s a very small group of people who put this together. Therefore, the long hiatus. I actually read LOTR because of Berserk! I mean, I’d seen the movies and I always meant to read it, but this pushed me to do it. I have to say, it wasn’t my cup of tea.
