What drew me to this artist is how they are able to make inner struggles so visually palpable. One of them is this picture of a girl who is crying and holding up a post-it note over her mouth saying “I’m fine” with a fake smile drawn on it. If that’s not a visual representation of depression, I don’t know what is.
