The sun shines bright on Harp's Run, a simple village. Villagers move to and fro, tending to their daily labors, whether it be tending to the crops, feeding the pigs, harvesting bounties of wheat, or cutting lumber floated downstream to make ready for the next shipment. At the end of their day's labor, they might head to the Rose Inn for a pint, or a glass of wine from the vineyards just up the hill. The local landed lords might even permit a stroll through the gardens on a fine day...

A pulse from the dais at the center of the room sets every rock and cobblestone under your feet vibrating with a disquieting lurch, the very structure of the chamber itself lurching and breaking, jagged cracks snapping in the stone and stretching like thin ice under too much weight. And then, another pulse, and the chamber breaks, floating out into the void of vacuous space all around you.

The endless nothing of space, or perhaps the yawning void that surrounds a demiplane, or simply a pit stop through the astral as teleportation magic takes you from one place on the material plane to another. This map doesn't feature much, and that was the point. Sometimes a big, blank starry sky is what you need in a tabletop game.
Surprisingly, this is my second take on trying to make a big blank space map that actually looks interesting for my own game, or as an asset for some of the ...

The winding caverns deep below the surface open into a long chamber. Fungi and crawling roots stretch along the rocky walls, strangely massive mushrooms glowing in green, blues, and oranges down into a descending colony. You've heard tall tales of the world below your feet your entire lives, but seeing is believing...

A broad expanse of green hill is ribbed with long trellises running back and forth along its slope, and tucked among them, the Vintner's Wine house. Laborers mill about, carrying baskets of grapes, or pushing wheelbarrows full of wine out where customers sample vintages to find that which best suits them. The place is safe, but access to the rarest vintages is, of course, quite expensive, and cautiously guarded.
I played some Kingdom Come: Deliverance a couple months back, and...

As your arcane companion finishes casting his spell, a single glowing doorway appears before you. Scarcely visible even to you, the idea of an interloper spying the enchanted portal seems impossible. Approaching, you step through, and find yourself transported into a demiplane specifically crafted to be a home and place of rest for you and your party. Gone are the cramped bunks and dubious security of the 2025-06-01 07:19:27 +0000 UTC

Hello everyone, I've got another map commission I've been given permission to share with my patrons, Spark in the Supplies is another from Brotherwise Games' Cosmere RPG. Knowing how much people seem to enjoy boat maps I enjoyed trying something a little different with this and making the map in a profile view, similar to old ship interior maps.
I've also included a night time variant. Happy sailing!

Hey all,
It's been a busy couple months for me, working on some projects for clients, and I'm eager to spend this month working on things with a bit more freedom. With that in mind, hit me with some map ideas, and if you see an idea you'd like from someone else, give it a like. I'll pick one that people want and make it.

The last map I'd done for Runefoundry's Wild Imaginary West, shared here with permission, this dusty thoroughfare runs between a few staples of any Western frontier town. A hotel for baths and beds, piano music echoing from the saloon, and a Sheriff's office next to a large cage used for housing the particularly large monsters that roam these lands.

The stairs descend into this cold stone dungeon, your boots filling the tight halls with your echoing footfalls. A small statue of an imp greets you, followed by an antechamber and a small prayer room, every sway of your cloak stoking swirls of dust in the dim light of everburning torches...
I felt like making a dungeon so I used a dyson-style map generator and painted/added onto that one for a fun experiment.

I put together a mishmosh of random assets and things as I played through some Elden Ring over the last few months and they never coalesced into a more thematically unified idea, but I like them and DeQuincey wants the corpses so I'm calling it done.
We got some Dark Souls styled corpses, some scarlet buds and blooms, some stone tablets, brass/gold containers, a giant tree and roots pack, fungal growths, assorted sundry interior stuff, you know the deal. Hopefully they'll suit your mapm...

A stone dais rises from the center of this room, the circular walls lined with rows of books, strange workstations, cabinets of arcane tools and chalkboards filled with sketched arithmetic and runic symbols as if the author's calculus borders on the profane. The floor is lined with gold or brass in a seven-pointed star, each pointing toward a stone archway. A study, a laboratory, a wizard's sanctum, it is all that and more. And yet the objects on the dais itself bear one unmistakable them...

Weathered cobblestone clatters under your boots as you approach the village square, and the faint scent of cooking stew from one of these simple thatch-roofed houses wafts past your nose. Pigs squeal and chickens cluck from a fenced in yard, and here and there, the villagers get on with another day's work.
It's been awhile since I've done a proper Town/Village map at battlemap scale, especially using many of the new assets and techniques I've been building up over the las...

The wind howls between the jagged spires sprouting from the mountainside, as if pained by the sharp ridges adorning its surface. The ground is craggy rock, winding up and around toward the peak in a slow spiral. A rockslide or an errant boulder might spell doom for any travelers here, to say nothing of the threat of impalement a tumble down the slope would entail.
An XL setpiece battlemap for this month, this map is 4x the size of my usual posts, inspired by the Jagged Peak fro...

Birdsong draws you closer to this massive tree, looming in a serene glade in the forest, but those sprawling branches under the shaded canopy house more than trilling canaries. A winding stair climbs to the tree's trunk, a circular door in its center, branchlike railings surround several balconies shelved with rows of plants of all sorts, and all seasons, growing with suspicious fecundity.

Between the straw-thatched, snow-covered rooves friends and neighbors gather around a large pine tree decorated with baubles, and surrounded by wrapped gifts. Warm pies, kegs of cider, and hot stew keep the bustling participants warm and cheeks rosy, even amid the Midwinter chill in the air, the laughter and sound of children caroling along with the Christmas Treant inviting all to share a seat, take a rest, and enjoy the spirit of the season.

The wind sighs through the deep canyons below these mountain pillars, high above the canopy of trees. A great tree towers above the largest pillar, its roots sprawling and stretching across the peaks like the tendrils of some great beast in natural bridges across the lofty archipelago.

Sorry for the tardiness on this variant, everyone. I completed most of this early in November and have been scrambling ever since to recover my work PC which had some unfortunate issues, but I have been able to get to limp through the rest of the month. So, last month's mondo map, in its ruined state, complete with day and night versions, as well as the night version of the original map.
Thank you all so much for your support and patience as I've dealt with things on my end. Onward!

A broad palisade wall and wooden towers protect the entrance to this makeshift stronghold of cutthroats. Once a prosperous gold mine that filled the local lord's coffers, it's been seized by men who have abandoned law and order, seeking only their next meal and to fatten their purses by intercepting levies, merchants, and travelers too poorly equipped to fend them off.
Those who resisted now decorate the walls and courtyard, a lesson for any would-be adventurers foolish enough to a...

The Road is a map I put together for Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere RPG and the kind folks at Brotherwise gave me permission to share those maps here. This one depicts a wagon and a chull stuck in the mud on the windswept plains of Roshar, surrounded by the peculiar and skittish grasses jutting from the cracks.
