Inspired By... Video Games (again!?)
Added 2024-12-26 16:32:00 +0000 UTCI don't know SoundFontGuy but when I saw his "GuyEngine" VST themed on the PS1, I just had to dive in and have some fun on stream.
I think it's a fun challenge! Create a song in the order of "Disks" with GuyEngine, you can't move onto a new Disk until you've completed a melody with an instrument on Disk 1, then Bass on Disk 2, Harmonies on Disk 3 and Drums on Disk 4. You unlock "powerups" with each disk to which I gave myself reverb, delay, filter and automation (kinda') but adapt this to how you like to work. GuyEngine is only $10 right now but you could really apply this to any VST of your liking! It was a fun task!
