As you know, we're planning on selling the Lazy Gecko which is up on the hard in Key West, Florida. She's been sitting there very lonely, we've not been able to show her because of our travels to view other boats.
We’ve had lots of inquiries, we were recently able to find a friend that is willing to show her! To add to that, she was viewed over the holiday weekend by a couple that seem to be taking the steps to possibly purchase her. Yesterday we overnighted the keys to our friend so he could show the potential buyers the inside.
The next steps would be for them to put in an offer, we accept and then fly into Key West for a sea trial and survey. It’s very sad to think that we will be selling our floating baby and I’ve thought of many reasons not to but I always end up reasoning with “it’s time to move on into our next floating home” as the Lazy Gecko was just a stepping stone into our sailing lives <3
